University of North Georgia hosted a fantastic event geared towards STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) topics. I had the pleasure of presenting to undergraduate students and other audience members about the profession of medical illustration and the steps to this rewarding career.

Attending this course gave me the opportunity to observe and perform various orthopedic procedures on cadaveric donors. Hosted at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. Faculty and staff from Nth Dimensions and Zimmer Biomet lead interactive, hands-on laboratory exercises utilizing current orthopedic technology.
Participating in courses like these solidify my understanding of procedures and the human body, helping me to create artwork for my clients better and faster.
